Bahrain, officially the Kingdom of Bahrain is a small island country in the Persian Gulf. Litterally Bahrain means "Kingdom of the two Seas". It is an archipelago of 33 islands. The capital is al-Manāma. Saudi Arabia lies to the West and both countries are connected via the King Fahd Causeway; Qatar lies to the southeast across the Gulf of Bahrain.
Bahrain also hosts the famous Bahrain F1 Grand Prix. The flag consists of a white band on the left, separated from a red area on the right by five triangles that serve as a serrated line.
