Decision making

I was really happy to receive this card as it completed the September 2011 RR for me. It was the first time in my participating in the huge Monthly RR that I have received all the cards.

Raima, the sender of this card, wrote that US President Obama and Russian President Medvedev discuss a very important political problem - what burger to choose from a Ray's Hell Burger menu :)

Peanuts

I love the Peanuts and was a very happy camper when I visited the Charles M. Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa, CA. The card was sent by appletsai for the November 2011 RR.

Vilnius

This beautiful card was sent by Edo for the November RR.

This is one of the famous Berlin Buddy Bears. There are so many different bears, all over the city. The bear in the US ambassy looks like the Statue of Liberty. The bears are part of the Buddy Bear project promoting a peaceful coexistence. You can find out more here. I sent myself this card as a souvenir from our mini honeymoon to Berlin. We spent a great weekend there with our witnesses.

Sunday Stamps #44

This week's Sunday stamps is all about sports.

I am a huge fan of all sorts of sports - as an Austrian I love skiing of course, but also football (soccer) and NHL hockey (Go Sabres!). I pretty much follow every huge international sporting event (Olympic games, world championships...).

Statistics

At the end of each month we receive our postcrossing stats. They tell us how many cards we have received and where they came from, where we sent our cards and how many we sent. Here are my stats for September and October and as you can see I was somewhat busy in September with other stuff than postcrossing [yep, my wedding :-) ]
