Oh wow, it's Tuesday again! And it's time for "our wonderful world on Tuesday". 

This week I chose a mountain view. 

I love being in the mountains, wheter it's for skiing or hiking. I am not sure if there are other posts for this Tuesday today, but here is the link to cuckotree's blog:

Sunday stamps time again! This week: Flowers

 I really like gladiolus. There are several flower fields in my hometown where you can go and pick your own gladiolus - I really like that!

 I also really like these pea-flowers!

Friendship

Today I am posting Ernie from Sesame Street. The muppets from Sesame Street are the best friends of so many children. I wanted to post something about friendship today as I finally heard again from an old friend. I was so happy to receive news from him! There is nothing greater than friendship!

Our wonderful world on Tuesday!

Tuesday again! This week, I chose a card from my hometown Graz. 

This is the Eggenberg Castle in Graz, which has recently become a UNESCO WHS. It is an old castle (work started in 1625) with beautiful state rooms. The castle shows the first owner's interest in cosmic harmony and astronomy. He was also fascinated by the calendar and that is the reason why you can find 24 state rooms (for the hours of a day) and 365 windows (for the days in the year). The 4 towers symbolize the 4 seasons. One of the most impressive rooms is the planetary hall with paintings that show the zodiac signs, constellations and elements. As you can see on the card, the castle is situated in a beautiful park with free running peacocks. When I was a child, I often visited this park with my aunt and uncle. She was a serious penny pincher, but my uncle loved to spoil us and always bought us a huge sundae.

I had a wonderful weekend with beautiful weather, that felt more like summer than spring.

Now that the first flowers are in bloom, the bees start to fly out again.

For this week, I chose a view of Goldenes Dachl (Golden Roof) in Innsbruck, Tyrol. It is located in the city center of Innsbruck, a charming city in the Tyrol, Austria. I went to university there and I really loved that the city is surrounded by mountains. In winter you can see people carrying skis or snowboards, even wearing ski boots, in the city.

I really try to blog regularely, but there is always so much to do after work and so little time. So internet, I decided to sign up for the A-Z blog challenge. I think I already posted about that. If you need more info about this project, just click the zebra button on the right.

For this week, I chose this card showing cherry blossoms. What I love about this card is the idea of a beautiful tree in bloom in the middle of a busy city... If you keep your eyes open, you can find a beautiful nature spot even between skyscrapers or a highly frequented road.
