It shows an alpine hut, near the highest point of Lower Austria, the Klosterwappen at 2.076 m.

I have just returned from a mini holiday in the Austrian Alps, but the card I have sent myself has not arrived yet, so I am posting Swiss mountains instead.

The card also shows cows which are considered to be "nice" animals, but the ycan in fact be really dangerous, especially now as they have young ones. Every other week there is news about another cow incident... So just admire them from a safe distance. Moooh :-)

Sunday stamps #79

Here is this week's edition of Sunday stamps and that was our weekly task: 

"It's Canada Day, US Independence Day, Bastille Day, and probably other national holidays. Let's share Flag stamps or patriotic stamps, from your country or another country."

I thought this would be harder, but I have many flag stamps in my collection. Some are country flags, but I halso have a collection of US state or territory stamps. No patriotic Austrian stamps of course - for historic reasons patriotism is not considered an entirely good thing here around...

I think I have shown these before - these are old stamps from the US, if I remember correctly they have something to do with WWII.
