Sunday again! I am away, so I hope this post will show up due to auto-post.

Theme this week is "Hobbies on stamps":

Shoe shopping is a much loved pastime of many a woman, including this blog's author ;-) 

Then there is postcrossing of course - the very reason for this blog!

This stamps shows automobile racing - I love watching it, not racing.

And this stamp was from the Europa series "Children's books" and it stands for reading. Something I love to do, though not the books made of paper but instead electronic ones :)

Summer memories

This card shows another scene from the Russian Winnie the Pooh series.

As the days get colder, grayer and darker, I often think back to the lovely days of summer. Winnie and his friends are shown on the card having a wonderful summer day and enjoying the nature.

Torino

This card was sent by Andy from a short vacation to Torino.

I love the card - the composition of the mountains in the background and the cathedral in the middle of the city and above all the Olympic flame. Torino was host city for the 2006 Winter Olympics.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is breast cancer awareness month.

This card came together with a bunch of other cards from Australia. Unfortunately I can't remember who sent me the card... It is an ad for an Australian breast cancer foundation that was set up in honour of cricket player Glenn McGrath's wife.
