 It feels as though we have just celebrated New Year's but when you look at the calender you realize that we almost have March...

It also means that half of the LetterMo is over and it is time for a short update on that project... but actually there's not so much to tell. I guess I have failed...I did write enough cards to cover all the days we were supposed to write, but I failed to write every day...

Do You Luv the A-Z challenge?

...that was the topic in today's blogpost over at the A-Z Challenge (look here). So encouraged by that, I am spreading the word about the A-Z Challenge. 

Yes, I am up to it again, I have signed up...but I am far from ready ;-) Need to think about whether I'm doing a theme or just keep up with the alphabetical order....

It's sooo c..c..cold outside! And whenever it's cold, it is time for soup!

This card shows borsch, a soup made of beetroot and a very traditional Ukrainian/Russian dish. Not my favorite though...

And here is a short announcement concerning the A-Z Challenge 2013: I have turned of comment moderation, so every comment you leave should appear on my blog. I have experienced some troubles with the comments recently though as some comments have turned up in the spam folder. So if you miss your comment on my blog it probably means that it ended up in the spam folder. I try to have a look there regularely to rescue the comments!

Sunday stamps #109

This week it's all about love, hearts, flowers...in anticipation of Valentine's Day!

The first stamps may seem a bit off topic, but if you look closely, the res stamps have a small green heart in it! It's the Styrian tourism emblem. the green heart, for the many forrests that cover the Styrian soil. The stamps are also those of this year's Alpine Skiing World Championships that are taking place right now in Schladming, Austria. Sad to say it's not going well for us...

No explanation needed for that stamp :)

I think this stamp is commemorating a diplomatic relationship anniversary between Russia and Italy. If  someone has more information on this stamp, please leave a comment!

Thailand has some wonderful stamps and here are two se-tenant stamps - I imagine the theme is "key to my heart"

So here we have a bee from Japan in a clover flower I think.

and the beloved ladybug, which has become quite rare hereabouts as the Asian ladybug is taking over  its home.

Macedonia

I started another stamp swap with Ana - so my Macedonian collection is growing again!

This beautiful landscape arrived for the vacation RR #600. 

This was the second swap card. It shows the Kasapov house which is used for cultural events these days.
